Dominique Martin



Dominque Martin is a Lecturer in Health Ethics with The University of Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. She completed her undergraduate Medicine/Arts (Hons) degree at The University of Melbourne, as well as her PhD in Applied Ethics. Her research interests include ethical issues pertaining to the procurement, use and distribution of human biological materials, particularly in the transnational setting; health professional ethics; and the ethics of ageing and end of life care. Dominique has worked as a consultant bioethicist at the World Health Organization, Geneva, and at the Qatar Organ Donation Centre. She is vice-chair of The Transplantation Society's Ethics Committee, a member of the Declaration of Istanbul Custodian Group, and co-editor of the Declaration of Istanbul website.
