Myrthe van Dieijen is a PhD candidate in Econometrics at the Erasmus School of Economics. Her current research interests are focused on the interface between marketing and finance, such as the impact of user-generated content on the volatility in stock returns, the financial impact of viral video ads, and the use of text processing techniques to identify shifting sentiment in financial news messages.
