Greetings all. In this class, we will learn how to draw arcs by using the sketch your arcs tool. Joining arc is something very basic and important. Because of this, there are different ways to draw them. Let's get started. Sketch your arc provides four ways to join an arc. The first method is called arc. The main points of these methods is to determine where the circle center of the arc will be. We should know that as quarter of a circle can be drawn from a square. So how to do this by using these methods? First we draw a square. Then we select arc, click on the vertex of the square and then the other vertex. Now we can see an arc has been created. We saw radius measuring the same as the square side. Now, we select another vertex to end the arc. The second method is two point arc. This method is simpler then the first one. With just two points to be the end point of the arc. The curvature of the arc varies with the movement of our mouse. To finalize the arc, we click one more time. The third method is three point arc. As the name it shows the method requires us to choose three points to determine the arc. The first two points determine the rough arc form and the third point gives the exact length that can be set by typing into the measurement box if needed. Also, we should note that the method is use for irregularly shaped figures. To demonstrate this, we will use the section poor objects. We select the three point arc, then we choose star points on the figure. Now, the second point which the arc must go through and hoover mouse to the points that most face with the figure. When we are sure about it, click on that points to enjoin of the arc. And then we draw the next arcs. The process is equal to the first one, which was a start point on the figure. Now the second point which the arc must go through and then we hoover mouse to the points that fits most with the figure. We repeat the same steps mentioned above every time we are drawing new arcs. Now we have finished tracing. We double click on the figure we have just drawn and move it aside. Here's another useful tips for us. When zooming in, we can see the arcs of the figure are formed by lines. If we want to create a smoother arc, we could just right click on the arc and go to entity info. Where is this place? The details of the selected arc. We can see there's a box showing segments which indicates a number of segments after selecting arc. Now we change the number to 100 and press enter. We can see that the arc obviously is smoother than it was before. If we want to create a figures with smooth margin, don't forget this useful trick. The last method is the pie method. This method is similar to arc to method. The difference is that, the pie method is used to draw a sector of the circle. For instance, we choose a point to start input 20 into the measurement box and press enter. Next we input 30 into the measurement box and press enter. Here, we get a sector with a radius of 20 and angle 30 degrees. In today's class, we learned different ways to draw an arc. Most of them need to establish the center and the radius to draw the complete arc. The length of the arc will depend on our input. That could be done in the measurement box or by using the mouse. Also, one of these methods allows us to draw a pie. Let's stop learning for now. Goodbye.
