[MUSIC] The second book that I wanted to talk about is, Leadership Theory, Application, and Skill Development by Lussier and Achua. In Chapter six of this particular book, the authors outline two things that we'll discuss in the module. One being the conflict management side and then the other one being the mediation or conflict resolution. Excuse me, in Chapter six, page 210 it actually talks about the management styles. And so those are the five management styles that we outlined in the module. The benefit of looking at this text to review the styles is to give you a little bit more of an insight on how two other offers seek comfort management styles. They break down and give you examples as well as giving you a little of an exhibit 6.4 exhibit that outlines how they really play out in relationship to each other. So, I think it's one of the important things to review to have a recap of what was discussed in the module. And then if you go to page 216, I should say 215, 216. It talks about the resolution process and it also outlines it in a different way than we approached in the module, but the method and the idea is similar. The outlines in the model 6.5, The Collaborating Conflicts Style, and then there are three different categories he puts those styles into, and one is initiated conflict resolution, responding to conflict resolution and mediating conflict resolution. So if we were to translate that into what the module covered, initiating conflict resolution is being the part, is being the individual that is chosen to take part in the conflict resolution, responding to the conflict resolution is when we were talking about, do I engage or not? Should I intervene or not? So it's a translation to what we talked about already. And then the mediating of conflict resolution is really addressing the steps that we took to set a collaborative stage and seeking resolution for the conflict. [SOUND]
