Welcome to the final review video of English from Marketing and Sales. Boy, am I glad to see you here at the finish line. Winning is completing! Hey, that's going to be my new tagline for this course. Do you think it would influence our learners? What's your opinion? With all the conversations in English and coursework you've completed, I know you've gained the confidence to agree or even disagree with me. Because you know language and communication techniques for maintaining and encouraging positive interactions. Having the ability to communicate and maintain relationships is important as this survey from Accountemps shows. This chart is part of an infographic I found on Pinterest. Pinterest is a useful social networking site for visually sharing information. You can find so much useful and free information like this there. Now, would you look at this bar chart, what do you think about the way the information is presented? Do the colors, images, numbers and words tell a story? Take the in-video quiz now to describe the information you see. It says at the bottom of this infographic that Accountemps surveyed 300 human resources managers in the US. At this point in our review, I'm going to ask you to do some analysis. Accountemps is a division of Robert Half, which is a human resource consulting firm. Who would be interested in this content? Human resource professionals and potential employees. Has anyone ever told you that there's nothing in life that's free? My grandmother used to tell me this all the time and up until now she's been right, but this information is totally free. I have no obligation, no one is pressuring me to buy anything. The information in this infographic is reliable and useful. How can you see Cialdini's principles of influence at work here? Remember they are reciprocity, scarcity, authority, consistency, liking, and social proof. Could you make an argument that one or more of these principles are at play in the whole infographic? It's parts such as the survey. So why am I asking you this? Well I'm glad you asked, [LAUGH] the Accountemps chart that we've been analyzing is an example of content marketing. That's useful for inbound sales. For your peer review assignment, you're going to find in example similar to this graphic or maybe an article that is free and open to the public that provides useful information and that is also being used for inbound sales purposes. Then you'll analyze it by asking yourself a series of questions that will help you form some kind of opinion. From this analysis you may form an opinion about the quality, the effectiveness, its usefulness, or its design colors, organization, etc. You might even show how Cialdini's principles of influence are at play. Once you form your opinion, you'll write a paragraph, then submit it and your example for review. Your peer review assignment gives you all the information you need to find a good example, to conduct an analysis, and to share your opinion in a form of a well structured paragraph. When you finish this assignment, stand up and power pose! You've accomplished so much. And I hope you consider taking the capstone course. In that course I'll get the chance to interact with you as you complete professional projects in English. Well this is it, thank you for your commitment to English for marketing and sales, good luck to you. I hope this isn't goodbye, but rather, see you later in the capstone course. Until then.
